Gail Jackson Miller, CG

Gail has 40 years experience in genealogy. She grew up in Muhlenberg County with all of her family lines extending back to the early 1800s in Kentucky or Tennessee. Her personal research continues to enhance her general knowledge of families and records in Kentucky.

Gail has over 15 years of professional experience working with clients with Kentucky roots and ties to surrounding states. In 1999, Gail became a certified genealogist through the Board of Certification of Genealogists. She helped to open the LDS Family History Center in Bowling Green in 1989, serving as Director until March 1998. She continues on the staff of the Center. She is currently on the Board of the Southern Kentucky Genealogical Society serving as editor of The Longhunter. Gail is also editor of the Muhlenberg County Genealogical Society's The Heritage. She is a member of numerous local, regional, and national genealogical societies, including the Association of Professional Genealogists.

Gail is a nationally recognized teacher with over twenty years of experience at the high school and university level. Her years of working with many types of students shows in her dynamic presentation style in her genealogical lectures. Her science background and teaching experience add to her ability to analyze problems both in her lectures and in her research.
